The Armor of Uncertainty

Building a startup is the ultimate test of resolve. But for me, the hardest training didn't happen in a boardroom. It happened in the quiet moments when my body decided to stop following the rules.
The Corporate Mirage
I spent my career in the corporate world. I loved the process. I thrived on structure and clear constraints. It's a comfortable way to work because the safety nets are usually visible. You know what "success" looks like because someone else wrote the manual.
Living with MS forced me to throw that manual away.
The Real Training Ground
To survive this disease, you've got to learn to live in a state of constant uncertainty. You've got to navigate chaos when your own nervous system decides to rewrite the plan at 3:00 AM. You've got to spend your days being deeply, physically uncomfortable while you're still expected to make high-stakes decisions.
Most people view these as "setbacks." I've realized they're actually the exact traits you need to be a founder.
Mastering the Dark
Building a company isn't about following a checklist. It's about operating in the dark. It's about pivoting the second the "system" fails you. It's about finding a way forward when you're exhausted and the path is invisible.
Most people spend their lives avoiding discomfort. I've spent years mastering it.
The corporate world gave me the tools to build, but MS gave me the armor to survive the build. If I can lead a meeting while my skin is on fire and my vision is doubling, I'm not going to blink when a market shifts or a deal falls through.
Am I prepared to be a founder?
Yes. I'm more prepared than I ever could've imagined.
Help me fight the battle that builds this armor.
